I agree with Xi Beng on this. Other causes of water pollution are due to human wastes (in villages) , oil spills andwashing of dirty clothes. All living things need water to survive, be it for photosynthesis or for drinking and if water pollution is not stopped or is increased, all the available drinking water would be polluted and will not be safe for drinking. When that happens, all organisms will die as the water is too polluted and will harm the organism. So we should stop water pollution now.

I agree with the topic as every many people died worldwide because of water pollution as harmful substance, such as chemicals are being released in the water. Not only humans are affected, marine animals and plants are also affected because they also need water to survive. Another example of water pollution is when oil is spilled into the sea, it blocked out the surface and plants would not be able to photosynthesize as they are unable to capture any light energy and when marine plants dies, it would also affect the marine animals as there would be enough oxygen, also some marine animal and plant support each others. So we should not pollute the water as marine plants and animals will die out sooner or later.

i agree that water pollution has an effect to the world. This brings me to another case of animals dying.DEATH.HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF BOTH LAND AND ANIMALS WHICH ARE AFFECTED BY WATER POLLUTION.Water pollution effects animals because when animals are thirsty, they drink in water full of gas and trash that are disposed of ships and waste from pipes leading to the sea. Also, it's hard for water animals to swim if there is gas to make the water murky and trash to be in their way, they also would not have enough oxygen to breathe .the thick oil would block the sunlight and cover the top layer of the water and water plants are not able to get the light to photosynthesis and produce oxygen to be taken in by animals/fishes that live deep in the sea. Also, an animal could get caught in trash like fishing nets and drown or get a serious wound and some would even die. sea birds that live on the shore hunt for food in the sea, humans throw trash in the ocean and the fishes die and sometimes birds such as seagulls were forced to find food in the trash .The cause of the death of some birds were found with plastic and trash in their stomach.Soon animals like this will decrease and soon in the danger of extinction. What a Face Like a Star @ heaven

HUMANS:
water that comes to our pipes are getting more and more dirtier and toxic as it is not cleansed properly .this leads to human deaths. Not only the people who drink this water are affected other people can be affected too.
example.a farmer uses this water to water the plants.they add fertellizers to the water and uses them on the plants .This is the non organic plants sold in the market. The people who eats this may get sick and die from illness. It is important to wash your veggies thoroughly BUT it is better to prevent this and stop water pollution as it is getting out of control.

Pathogens include such organisms as bacteria, viruses, and protozoan. These pollutants enter waterways through untreated sewage, storm drains, septic tanks, runoff from farms, and particularly boats that dump sewage. Though microscopic, these pollutants have a tremendous effect evidenced by their ability to cause sickness. affraid
I agree with vanessa as even though pathogen is small they are harmful as they are able to cause respiratory and urinary problem, infections and many others kind of harmful disease. When a animal or human eat a animal with these kind of bacteria, they can also be affected leading to more and more death. Pathogen are commonly found in polluted water, so we should not pollute the water as it will lead to more animals and humans with diseases

Water pollution just does not stop at the oceans and seas.IT CAN also be around us such as the drains and pipes that we see everywhere in singapore. We should not throw litter anywhere as it may accidentally end up in the drains and clog the pipes, this may cause mosquitoes to breed too.It will also cause a deadly disease such as malaria and dengue that has caused hundreds of people to die.We can prevent this by picking up litters we see around us and dispose it properly.Sometimes when there is rain and flood like in 2007 the litters on the floor gets carried by the water and flows into the pipes and drains if there is too much trash stagnant water will attract breeding ground for mosquitos.

Water pollution is a major problem in the global context. It has been suggested that it is the leading worldwide cause of deaths and diseases that kills around 14000 people daily .This happens due to the waste produce by people into seas and shores of beaches bom , causing the deaths of marine animals ,such as fishes, eating the waste produce by people. No Other ways of water pollution includes oil spill , untreated sewage and industrial waste released into rivers and seas. All these problem could be resolve if we were to be more civic-minded in our actions Exclamation Therefore , we should not litter or pollute the seas and rivers , or we will be the murderers of those dead marine animals.

I agree to Yuen Sian's reply saying that all living things needs water to survive and drinking polluted water may cause organisms to be infected with diseases regardless whether it is fatal or not and if polluted water is transported all over the world , diseases will be spread over worldwide and may cause a epidemic.

Water Pollution usually caused by humans. Factories lets out chemical waste to the seas which can make the water polluted and kill the marine life. Litters are also another form of water pollution. Litters Thrown into the water may make the water dirty and it can kill marine life as well. Sad

However, i do not agree that water pollution is only caused by humans. Nature can also pollute the water. As the trees get washed away by the rain, there is nothing to hold the soil together. Therefore, the soil will slide down resulting in soil erosion. When the soil reaches the river or lake, the soil might make a layer on top of the river or lake. This will not allow the sunlight to reach the marine plants and photosynthesis is not possible. This will endanger the entire ecosystem as plants are the primary producers of food. If there are no plants, the ecosystem will collaspe and the animals will die.

i think that because of global warming the amount of pollution increased surprisingly water has been polluted by soil bercaus of soil erosion done deforestation, it has also been polluted because Mad farmers spray their plants with insecticides which is poisoness and can harm our bodys when accumillated over a long period of time.water has also been made more acidic when there is acid rain which has now become more recent compared to previous years. Mad Mad
sometimes when there are oil spills birds die because the oil coated their featers which makes them heavier and harder for them to take off flight. aquatic organisms are also affected beacause of oil spills which cover up sunlight which will stop plants from photosynthesising and producing oxygen for other organisms to respire sooner or later the plants and animals will become endangered species or extinct Mad Mad Mad

technically ivan is right about clogging up drainage systems and causing the water flow to be unstable when water is clogged during a heavy storm it will be very unpleasent as flooding happens and alot towns and cities major or minor will be affected.

right now in china there is a small villadge which is heavily affected the main river dranage system is always clogged and during the rainy season the heavy rainfall has caused floods many farmmers which is the main job in the rural village has lost their jobs and because of water pollution many have died human or animal Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad No No No
