I think that it is really true. As when the climate change, it can be hot or cold, and some people and animal may not get use to it. As it continue on, there will be more effect and consequences we have to face and we can't stop it. There are people who do not learn lesson from global warming, still do things to worse the global warming, making the situation worst. And also, it is a threat as this is a thing that affect the life of the living organisms in the world. And if the plant population decrease, the primary source of food will decrease, and the primary consumer won't have much food, even if the secondary consumer can consume on the primary consumer but sooner the population will decrease until a stage where that they won't have any foods. These all influences indirectly or even directly on us and so it is a very serious matter.

well , just like zi wei had said . The changes of climate due to the global warming has obviously harmed the Earth directly and in directly. Due to human's activity that slowly harm the Earth , many creatures on Earth also had suffered because of our selfish acts.
Many organism in the Earth can only survive in a certain enviroment and habitat . And we human beings had made them unable to live in that particular places. for example ; cutting down trees , polluting water ... Under these circumstances , the animal cannot move to another place to live in . As they have adapted to their surroundings. And when nothing is done to salvage the situation , the animals will soon face extinction . And when a particular animal extinct it also affects other living organism . As the other organism may depend on that particular animal for food . Soon the animal that preys on them will also face extinction .If the animal extincts , the next victim would be the human race . As we also depended on the animals to provide food .Untill this stage , if the human do not solve the problem they soon will soon face lack of food and not long before extinction.
So , in total , when there is a chance now human should take the opportunity to save the Earth or else it will affect the lives on Earth.

Organism in the Earth have to adapt to the environment in order to survive and reproduce.When we extract natural resources or build house,we change the enviroment.As the components of the earth's physical enviroment are interrelated,the changes that we make to the environment will cause the climate to change.Then,organism that are poorly adapted will not be able to survive.So since earth is the only planet where life can exist.So we should try to take care of our environment and use the resources responsibly to ensure not only our survival,but also the survival of future generations of organism living in the earth.

Green plants are called producers because they produce their own food through the process of photosynthesis.At the same time,green plants provide food and energy for the animals in the food chain so if the population of plants decrease,it will also affect the population of the primary and secondary consumers.Soon,the decreasing of organism will lead to extinction causing other serious problems.

Plants may not adapt to new climate.Once they could not adapt,there is a high chance they would extinct.being a primary producer,the extinction of plant will surely upset the Food web.eg,the food chain of GREEN PLANT-GOAT.once the plant extinct,the goat will have no food for it to consume,and extinct.that is one example of extinction of plant affecting the biodiversity.

Climate change is mainly caused by human.Eg,burning of fossil fuels.burning of fossil fuels release large amount of Carbon dioxide.carbon dioxide is one of the factor casing global warmng.carbon dioxide absorbs heat energy from earth,so the amount of heat energy from earth released to the space is reduced.when this continue, the earth temperature would rise and it would affect the biodiversity.this would cause extinction and loss of habitat.Eg,the Ice at antractica would melt and it could cause mass flooding.the flooding of antatctica can flood lands ,detroying habitats of animals and plants,causing them to extinct.
so in my opinion,people should use less things that produce carbon dioxide to prevent disaster from happening.

i do not think so as some people do not care and did not bring their bags on Wednesdays as they only need to pay 10 cents which they think is a small sum.and some people just avoid going to supermarkets and other places to buy things on Wednesdays.and i think by saving plastic bags every Wednesday is not good enough if the government really want to use this method to save the environment they should make it a basis that way people cant avoid anything.

Yeah, all of the above is true. When climate is beginning to change rapidly now, I’m afraid we humans or plants or animals do not have much time to adapt to the changing climate. To make things worse, humans had done more things that could increase global warming like cutting down of trees. They also polluted the water, make very big factories and the factories realesed harmful gases that could kill living things. When deforestation rate increases, animals or humans will have a lack of oxygen as photosynthesis from plants is not occuring. When all plants is extinct, we humans must be prepare to face death as animals like cows that eat plants will die too and there will be no more food for us left. Earth will then one day totally become desert as there is too much heat and mankind will extinct.

I think the threat to animal extinction is very real as a few degreeschange in the whole can kill many different species of animal as all the creatures of the world has been adapted to the temperature and many may not adapt fast enough to the speedy changes in temperature.Research has found the if the world was to increase by 2 degree celius,all coral reefs will die thus many fishes will become prey to bigger predetors and if the temperature increase by 1 more degree the amount of water melted from the glacier at the poles will cover whole of Singapore

The threat is very serious. An example is the rising temperatures due to climate change. It causes the decreasing in Alaska's coastal ice pack, threatening the survival of polar bears and other species. Climate change is starting to change life on Earth. Animals may be extinct because of climate change. Climate change is caused by human. Throwing of garbage anywhere, cutting of trees, burning of plastics and deforestation are some factors. This causes climate change, and climate change affects the animals or even people. Some impacts are higher temperatures, changing landscapes, wildlife at risk, rising sea levels and economic losses. Climate change can cause extinction to animals and poor health conditions for people. It is very serious, and if we do not do anything now, then when? It might be too late..

extinction is mostly created by man and this includes mass logging, pollution, creation of plastic that could not be incinerated, etc.Bring your own bag day has played an important role in recycling as most bags that we use are made of plastic and if we reuse them, the production of plastic could be reduced and thus using less space to contain disposed plastic bag that could not be incinerated on landfills.Also recycling bins also played a important role in this conservation effort as it sorts out recyclables and non-recyclables and making it more convenient and recyclables could be recycled and will waste less of the Earth's natural resources to create items that benefits human.

I agree to Nicholas. We must use recyclable materials so that we don't need to use plastic bags every time. Plastic bags cause global warming and air depletion as well. This may cause harm to human and animals. Using of recyclable bags also helps us save money.

i agree with zhi ming. If plants do not adapt or change to the climate, it will soon be extinct.If we have no plants we have no oxygen, and energy and the consumer will die due to lack of food. If the primary consumer die,the secondary consumer will not have food. If the secondfary consumer dies ,humans do not have food to eat and we will be extinct.

I agree with your statement. As global warming is seriously affecting our nature, plants and animals. It cost the plant to not photosynthesis and die and the animal do not get to eat the plant, therefore there ewill be a chain effect of global warming that will cause alot of animal and plants to extinct. If the plants are unable to adapt to the climate and be extinct, the animals on earth will soon die as firstly , there is no other organism to renew the oxygen in the air, and secondly there is no plants to feed the herbivours eg. If the sea levels rise due to the polar caps falling down, some islands will be submerged due to the rising sea level and eventually, all islands will be submerged due to the high sea level. Also, the would also be a temperature increase which will cause some animals and plants unable to adapt to it to die or worst, extinct. I agree with the statement. Global warming is occuring all over the Earth. Our irresponsible action is causing the Earth to cause climate change, leading to Global Wariming. Due to global wariming, some areas on Earth may not be able to adapt changes, for example: In the North Pole and South Pole, ice and snow starts to melt due to the great change in weather, the melting would then cause and increase in water and it would flood certain areas where its nearby. As for living things, plants may not able to adapt the rise in temperature and plants will start to wither faster then usual.
